Veteran’s Benefits

Veterans have many different benefits which are available to them as a result of their selfless service to the United States. If you are a veteran or have a veteran in your family, you need to know of the programs which can allow you to provide for yourself and the people who you love. This can become especially important as you get older, as your medical needs expand, and as you may require more services to help you cope with illness or the effects of aging.

Far too many veterans are not told of the full measure of benefits they can receive, do not know how to apply for benefits, and are unaware of how to find out what benefits exist that could help them and their families. You do not want to miss out on important services or financial support which you have earned through bravely serving your country.

Frank & Kraft can help to make sure you get all you deserve. Give us a call today to speak with an Indianapolis veterans’ benefits lawyer to learn about the ways in which we can provide personalized help in securing benefits. You can also get answers to questions including:

  • What kinds of veterans’ benefits could I be eligible for?
  • Why do I need to get help with veterans’ benefits?
  • How can an Indianapolis veterans’ benefits lawyer help me?

What Kinds of Veterans’ Benefits Could I Be Eligible For?

There are many different kinds of veterans’ benefits that are available to people of all ages and health statuses. The particular benefits, services, and programs which may be available to you can vary based on service records, income status, and a host of other factors. However, some of the many different things which could be provided to you include:

  • Assistance with the costs of nursing home care, or a place in a community nursing home or other residential care center.
  • Medical foster care if you have a short-term medical situation which requires assistance.
  • Healthcare benefits, including treatment for illnesses and preventative testing.
  • Aid & Attendance, which is an increase in pension benefits for bedridden veterans and for those who require certain types of custodial care.
  • Adult daycare and community-based programs which provide socialization, activities, and help with routine activities of daily living.
  • Respite care, which provides relief for caregivers who are providing daily care and who require time off.

These are just some of the many different programs. The Veterans Administration has made many efforts to provide for the needs of aging veterans and their families, and there are both ways you can get financial help and ways you can take advantage of programs and services within your community.

Why Do I Need Help With Veterans’ Benefits?

While efforts have been made to create programs to provide for veterans in recognition of their service, the actual administration of these programs has sometimes proved challenging for the Veterans Administration.  Veterans have been put on waiting lists and had trouble getting access to essential health services, and many other veterans have not been able to find out what programs their service records have made them eligible for.

Applying for benefits can also be complicated and time consuming, and can require you to provide extensive paperwork and navigate a very complex bureaucracy.  When even finding out what benefits you deserve is difficult, successfully making a claim for those benefits can become an insurmountable challenge – especially if you or a family member are dealing with health issues.

The good news is, a veterans’ benefits lawyer knows the rules, knows about the available benefits, and can provide assistance in navigating the bureaucracy. Frank & Kraft has made it our mission to help do everything we can to ensure no veteran is ever denied benefits that he deserves and has earned by serving his country.

How Can an Indianapolis Veterans’ Benefits Lawyer Help Me?

Frank & Kraft makes the process of applying for veterans’ benefits as easy and stress free as possible for veterans, their families, and their caregivers. We will provide an assessment of your situation to help you determine all of the different kinds of benefits for which you and your loved ones may be eligible. We will also take care of the process of applying for those benefits on your behalf, moving your application along in the process, and following up to address any delays.
