There is an article of interest to people in the estate planning community appearing on The Trust Advisor website at the present time. A reality television show is in the works that would look at disputed estate cases.
Most of us have heard of the popular reality TV show Storage Wars, and this one is working with the name Will Wars during the early stages of exploration.
The premise is to allow members of wealthy families who are involved in estate disputes to make their respective cases on the air as they attempt to come to some kind of an agreement.
Since it is in the early stages of development the show may or may not actually make its way to your television screen, but reportedly people with a lot of power in the industry are excited about the prospects.
If you are aware of a dispute that is taking place among members of a wealthy family you are invited to pass along details. The appropriate e-mail address is contained within the original article: Reality TV Show Will Wars.
When you’re planning your estate it is important to be completely forthcoming with your attorney. If there is someone out there who is going to be disappointed enough to challenge your estate after you pass away you are probably aware of it. This is information that you should absolutely share with your estate planning lawyer.
We will keep an eye on this story and pass along the details if and when the project becomes more concrete.
